The “Parmigiano Reggiano” is the most famous cheese in history, loved by people of every time and culture! In the XVII century, the french writer Molière asked before his death a “slice of Parmigiano”. It is also said that Dumas, the author of "The three musketeers", liked to cook himself maccheroni with tomato and to offer his guests them with Parmesan. Napoleon was initiated by his wife Maria Luigia, duchesse of Parma to love this cheese which he used to eat mixed with beans.
