To make a bespoke Larusmiani shirt our tailors do 17 hand passages in the production process. Starting from the creation of a paper pattern, the first step is to cut the cloth and then to sew a flat felled seam. The collar and the armhole are hand-stitched to give the cloth a natural adjustability making it more suitable to the shape of the wearer and therefore granting anyone the best comfort. Shoulders and sides are hand-stitched to grant a perfect fit. Each buttonhole is hand-cut and hand-embroidered with a thread long at least 50 centimeters. Our artisans take at least 14 minutes to make any buttonhole. Then the mother of pearl buttons are sewed on and fastened with a stich reminding of the shape of the seagull. At the end the shirt is carefully ironed in order to perfectly keep its shape.
